Olympic Blues...

Because all good things DO have to come to an end...

Olympic withdrawal...

Special guests, long conversations, great dinners, party, fun, laughter, tears, a new baby- Marina!!, work, some rest to balance it a bit, emotions...and the sun, after months in the darkness of the crappy weather, London was sunny for 17 days in a row! In this 3 years that I've been living here I've never see it happening.

My first Olympic game was Atlanta- Brazil x Nigeria- football...Amazing, the 5 of us, the whole family!

But now, after this one, a flame has certainly fired and I wish I can attend all of forthcoming ones! The atmosphere is amazing, people are happy, the sense of achievement and accomplishment is every where. From the volunteers, to the athletes that you happen to meet (at 4am when coming back home ;)), to the sports lovers.

The word for me for the London Olympic Games is :KINDNESS! People were kind, everywhere! And it felt great!

Here a bit of all that happened during these days + some of the most beautiful pics I collected from the internet...

To finish it off, the closing ceremony and the images that made me reinforce something I always knew, but been thinking, or better than that, feeling a lot - how I miss my country... and the people ...and the joy and that spark that only a Brazilian like me can understand...
TO COM SINTOMAS DE  SAUDADES!!! (as the lyrics in Marisa Monte's song says...)

And waiting for 2016...

Just...

Thanks Ana "Fadinha"...

...

Cloudy weather, windy, grey...as my beloved London usually yes...
Perfect for a romantic comedy after a bad night of sleep.
As my sweet cousin calls me: Larissa, sua corujinha (little owl)...It wasn't always like this, but in the mean time...
Love Actually...

Cute Sam revealing to his step-dad he's in love...

Love in cardboards...

Here with me...
I didn't hear you leave
I wonder how am I still here
I don't want to move a thing
It might change my memory

Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want but I can't hide
I won't go I won't sleep
I can't breathe until you're resting here with me
I won't leave I can't hide
I cannot be until you're resting here with me

I don't want to call my friends
They might wake me from this dream
And I can't leave this bed,
Risk forgetting all that's been

Oh I am what I am
I'll do what I want,
But I can't hide
I won't go, I won't sleep,

I can't breathe,
Until you're resting here with me
I won't leave, I can't hide,
I cannot be until you're resting here with me

Feeling emotional tonight...

Drinking in the morning sun
Blinking in the morning sun
Shaking off the heavy one
Heavy like a loaded gun

What made me behave that way?
Using words I never say

I can only think it must be love
Oh, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day

Someone tell me how I feel
It's silly wrong but vivid right
Oh, kiss me like the final meal
Yeah, kiss me like we die tonight

Cause holy cow, I love your eyes
And only now I see the light
Yeah, lying with me half awake
Oh, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day

When my face is chamois-creased
If you think I'll wink, I did
Laugh politely at repeats
Yeah, kiss me when my lips are thin

Cause holy cow, I love your eyes
And only now I see you like
Yeah, lying with me half awake
Stumbling over what to say
Well, anyway, it's looking like a beautiful day

Throw those curtains wide!
One day like this a year'd you see me right
Throw those curtains wide!
One day like this a year'd we'll sing it right

Danger: Vodka meets Lingerie!!! Woww!!!

Is this your kind of lingerie!!!
I think it could work for me...
Tadahhh

BB Cream? Nooo!!! CC Cream

BB creams (Beauty Balms) were a huge thing but they are in the past already...in Asia, the "new thing" are the CC Creams, and amongst the big international brands, Chanel is leading the way with its Complete Color Correction Cream (actually is a Cream x 4!!!).

But what is a CC Cream?
CC stands for Color Control, and it promises to be an evolved version of the BB Creams with better fixation, higher sun protection and lighter texture (oil free). Some also have a better moisturizing formula, with white tea and/or green tea extracts, macadamia, aloe vera, anti-oxidant action, vit E and hyaluronic acid. Ufff!!! Ok,  when will we get to ZZ Creams???

Time for Eames...actually, timeless

It's screening in just a couple of theaters in London- Notting Hill will be the one for me.
A documentary about the Eames couple and how the became icons of contemporary design.

By doing some quick & dirt research, I also found this video on the Eames Foundation website.
Enjoy it!

My version of Eames, love i!

O canoeiro e o rio

A canoa remando.

Encostou a canoa no meio. Escolher a margem parecia difícil, difícil ir, difícil ficar.
